Russian Edition
Since God hasn’t provided an updated edition of the Bible, does this mean we should look for God in ourselves?
Face it, the Bible is seriously out of date.
While many of the anecdotes and parables ring true with general principles and observations of human behavior today, it’s seriously out of context, and further doesn’t connect with people today specific to concepts and objects that simply didn’t exist in Biblical times.
Coat hangers and abortion, Russian roulette, 9/11, suicide bombers, these are just a very few examples of things in this day and age which the Bible cannot touch on.
If God cares so little about the Bible that It wouldn’t update it in so long, it seems like we should seek God inside, through our hearts and minds, rather than in the dusty pages of ancient texts.
Why else would God not keep Its book of rules for Its followers up to date?
God answered everything already
love God with all your heart mind and soul, and love others
these are not out of context with life, and life is found in Christ
