Comic Book Enthusiastss Have Been Waiting, Now Green Lantern Comes to a Movie Theater This Summer by Teresa Lyons
Hal Jordan is a test pilot who doesn’t have many friends, as he is cocky and arrogant. He does not care about what other people would say including his former girlfriend Carol Ferris because to him, what matters most is that he gets his job done. But, something incredible will happen to him, an event that will forever change his life, and for the better.
When a mysterious object landed on the surface of the earth, Hal was able to find out about the alien life form, Abin Sur who was dying. Unsure of what has happened, he is suddenly handed out an emerald ring and recruited as a member of the Green Lantern Corps., a brotherhood of intergalactic warriors whose main mission is to ensure the safety and peace of their respective sectors.
Hal is initially in shock with all these events, finding out that the human race was never seen as viable for candidacy among the Corps and the discovery of a sentient alien force called Parallax hell bent on destroying every one of them, but with his determination and will power, and his skills as a pilot, he just may be the missing key to the puzzle for the benefit of the greater good, for it is “in brightest day, in darkest night” that no evil shall escape his sight. I am one hell of a comic lover because I was able to grow up where reading comics from different authors and makers is something that I can do all the time and my favorite comic books are the ones made by DC, Marvel, Epic, Dark Horse and Image Comics, this is why I would love to watch Green Lantern online free!
The story of the movie is greatly premised on underdogs just like the character since most of the members of the brotherhood did not believe in him because of his origin, but it did not make him feel that he cannot do the best that he could and being an underdog does not mean that you always remain like one. The intriguing plot like this is just one of many reasons to watch Green Lantern online. Seeing the movie in big screen would something be a bit jaw dropping. Think of how the planet Oa would appear and how could the Kilowogg would seem to appear on screen and how he would look like and be a natural bad ass, which is why I would definitely want to watch Green Lantern online free!
Directed by Martin Cambell of Goldeneye and Casino Royale fame, the film stars fan favorite Ryan Reynolds (who’s appeared as different comic book characters in several films, two of which are Marvel property)as the titular hero, and Blake Lively of TV’s Gossip Girl (and more recently showcasing her acting chops in Ben Affleck’s heist drama “The Town”) as Carol Ferris.
Mark Srtong plays the role of Sinestro who is one of the reliable member of the Corp. If you want to be entertained next year and if you love DC’s comic selections, then this movie will surely be a big hit! Watch Green Lantern online free!
